Sanvenero 125 GP

This rare Sanvenero 125 GP is one of only three works bikes produced by Sanvenero in 1982.
This is an official works team bike with aluminium frame, not to be confused with the few privateer racers with tube frame produced in 80 and 81. The for that time avantgardist decoration of this bike was created by the famous designer Aldo Drudi, who designs all helmets and bikes of Valentino Rossi since many years. The decoration of the Sanvenero was the first bike designed by Aldo Drudi
One of the three official bikes was destroyed in an accident during the GP of Bresil (due to fire), another one was sold a few years ago via our company to a South American collector and one is known to be part of an Italian collection, but that’s a recent recreation.
This is the only authentic period 125 Sanvenero GP currently available on the market.

The history of the bike is fully known from its production in 1982. The bike is complete, in original configuration and runs perfectly.
This is one of the two official bikes raced by the works riders Ricardo Tormo and Pier Paolo Bianchi during the 1982 World Championship 125 cc.
With these works bikes, Bianchi obtained the 4th overall place in the world championship 1982 and Ricardo Tormo achieved a global 5th rang with victories in the GP of Belgium and Sweden.
Technical specifications and the racing history are available below the pictures.

This very rare Sanvenero GP is available in France.
