Suzuki GS 1000


Works Suzuki GS 1000 R 4 cylinders 1983 World Endurance Champion. This exceptional works Suzuki is one of the two bikes ridden to victory in the 1983 World Endurance Championship by Hervé Moineau & Richard Hubin (the second bike can be found in the Suzuki museum in Japan). Victorious at the Suzuka 8 hrs, Silverstone 6 hrs, Jarama 8 hrs, and numerous second places over the course of the championship.
The bike was fully overhauled at the Suzuki factory in Japan at the end of 1983 and has not been run since. In 2008 a complete restarting has been undertaken by the SERT (Suzuki Endurance Racing Team) and the bike is in perfect working order and exceptional overall condition.
